How this guide is written

  • Settings > Network > Interfaces means: open Settings, choose Network, then Interfaces there. The last part can be a tab, a section of the page, a button or an item in a side bar.
  • Names in bold are what you see on the screen: apps, pages, buttons.
  • "Administrator" is an account with administrator rights; a "Standard user" has none. Most of this guide needs an Administrator.
  • Most windows have a ? button that opens the help for what they show. The search (the magnifier at the top right) finds apps, Settings pages, help topics and files by their names.
