A server that has used its month's data goes on at 1 Mbit/s until the month ends: it is never cut off.
Questions
What does OSM Free include?
Everything a home needs: Storage with RAID, Shared Folders, Backup, and apps, containers and virtual machines without a limit, 10 accounts, and every update. With a free OSM account, OSM Connect for 1 server too. On as many servers as you like, at home.
How does a product key work?
You buy it in your OSM account, which keeps it. Type it while you install OSM, or later in Settings > License. The server gets its license file from OSM's service, then checks it by itself. A server without the internet: download its license file in your OSM account on another device, and upload it to the server. A key is for one server at a time.
What happens to my server when a license ends?
Everything keeps working for 30 more days. After that, nothing stops and nothing is deleted: only changes to the paid features wait until you renew. Security updates, and getting at your own data, never depend on a license. OSM Pro, bought once, does not end.
Can I move a license to another server?
Yes. Type the key on the new server and allow the move, by email or in your OSM account; or move it from your OSM account. Moving a key needs your OK, so a key someone else gets hold of is no use to them. A copy of a server's disk, or a new motherboard, counts as a new server.
How does the trial work?
Each server can try OSM Pro or OSM Business for 30 days, free and without a card: start it in your OSM account. At its end, the server goes back to OSM Free at once, without the 30 days; nothing is deleted.
How do I cancel?
Home, OSM Business and OSM Enterprise renew until you cancel them. Cancel in your OSM account, under Plan and billing, or on the page Cancel contracts here, which works without signing in. The plan then ends at the end of the period you paid for. OSM Pro is paid once: there is nothing to cancel. As a consumer, you can also withdraw within 14 days: Cancelling and withdrawing.
